System & Global Settings

This module allows you to tailor the software to your specific region, branding, and local tax laws.

White Labeling (Ch 3.1)

Navigate to Settings > White Label to update:

  • Site Name: Your restaurant name.
  • Site Logo: Recommended size 230x50px.
  • Favicon: The icon visible in browser tabs.
  • Footer Text: Copyright and branding info for the dashboard.

Tax Settings (Ch 3.3)

Dine Docket ENT supports Exclusive and Inclusive tax models. You can add multiple fields (VAT, CGST, SGST) and assign them as global defaults or item-specific overrides.

SMS Configuration (Ch 36)

Integrate with gateways like Twilio or Mobishastra to automatically send invoices and promotional birthday greetings to customers.

Maintenance & Reset (Ch 38-40)

  • Export Daily Sales: Archive your data before resetting for a new season.
  • Reset Transactional Data: Clear sales/purchase logs while keeping your menu intact.
  • License Uninstall: Necessary when moving the software to a new domain or server.
