Printer & Hardware Setup

Dine Docket ENT supports a wide range of thermal printers (56mm and 80mm) via its dedicated Print Server.

Supported Printers (Ch 8.1)

The system supports over 100 thermal printer models including Epson, Star, Bixolon, Xprinter, and Zjiang. If your printer supports **ESC/POS** commands, it will work.

Printing Types

**Browser Popup**: Standard printing using your browser's print dialog.
**Direct Print Server**: High-speed, silent printing directly from the server. Requires a local XAMPP setup for the print script.
**Network/USB**: Assign specific KOT printers to specific food categories.

Category Printing: You can configure the "Pizza" category to print at the Kitchen printer and the "Cocktails" category to print at the Bar printer automatically.

Add Counter (Ch 8.6)

If your restaurant has multiple cash points, you can define "Counters". Each counter can be linked to its own specific invoice printer.
